Dog semen

can be imported with a veterinary certificate confirming that the donor was in good health and correctly vaccinated against rabies at the time of semen collection. The rabies vaccination is not compulsory if the certificate confirms that the Member State of origin meets the OIE criteria for being regarded "rabies-free" and the donor dog has spent the last 6 months before semen collection exclusively in this Member State or in countries with equivalent rabies status.
